What's the difference between roof repair and roof coating?
Repair fixes a roof that's already leaking — panel replacement, reseal, source-tracing a leak. Coating is preventive: a protective membrane applied to a sound roof so it doesn't reach that point. If your roof is actively leaking, start with our roof repair page — we'll assess whether it needs repair, coating, or both.
Can you coat a roof that already has minor damage?
Usually, yes — after we repair the damage first. Coating goes over a sound, dry roof. Anything active gets fixed as part of the same intake so the coating isn't sealing in a problem.

Commercial trucks, transit buses, motor coaches and Class A RVs — aluminum, fiberglass and composite roof surfaces.
How often does a coated roof need to be redone?
It depends on the vehicle's duty cycle, climate exposure and the roof material underneath. We give you a recommended recoat interval at the time of application so it's a planned line item, not a guess.
